Retained Search
Our principal focus is on partner search. We are asked by law firms to assist them with some of their most important lateral partner assignments, often as a precursor to entering a new practice area or opening an office in a new jurisdiction. With our professionals on the ground in London, Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia we can work on assignments in nearly all the major jurisdictions in the world. We understand all the whys and wherefores that come with team as well as individual moves. Our reputation means that potential candidates will take our calls in the knowledge that we will be speaking to them about something that is thought through and considered. Our research means that we only approach candidates who we know to be right for the particular law firm and the particular role. We work with our clients on a retained basis, but with our fee structure being strongly weighted to success, and not simply the delivery of a shortlist of candidates. This ensures that our interests are closely aligned.
We work with our corporate clients on senior general counsel positions, where our own experience of working in house means that we can identify candidates with the right attributes to succeed. We are also asked by law firms and sets of chambers to help them with their most senior non legal hires, such as Chief Executive Officer, COO, Head of Human Resources, Head of Business Development and Chambers Director.
